A CHINESE HANGING SCROLL
20th century, in the manner of Yu Gi Gao (b. 1932)
On paper mounted on cream patterned silk with blue borders and depicting a pair of mallard ducks swimming beneath a branch of flowering prunus, in gouache, with script and seal of artist left of centre


A FINE PAIR OF CANTONESE COVERED VASES
Late Qing Dynasty, late 19th to early 20th century
The baluster shaped vases with domed lids and dogs of fo finials, the collars with applied chilong embellishments to the collar and decorated throughout in the Cantonese palette with reserves of figural interior scenes and floral and faunal vignettes within brocaded borders and patterned grounds, the necks with continuous domestic narratives


A CHINESE POLYCHROME FLORAL DISH IN THE QING MANNER
The scallop rimmed low dish decorated with lotus flowers and scrolls in enamel colours with additional iron red flowers and medallions with auspicious script; bearing an overglaze Jiaqing mark underside


A CHINESE PAINTING
Republic era, early to mid 20th century
The finely painted gouache and watercolour figure of a Guanyin carrying a basket of fish, homage to a famous Chinese tale, on paper and within a silk mount


A CHINESE IVORY WARRIOR FIGURE
Meiji Period, 19th century
With a good patina and intricately pierced and carved as a seated warrior figure in antique armour holding a sword in his left hand and seated upon a stool with mask motifs and claw feet above a double circular base; engraved marks in rectangular cartouche underside


A CHINESE SOAPSTONE BUDDHA
In deep green olive tonings, the carved seated laughing Buddha with pendulous earlobes sparingly attired in a lightly engraved robe, holding a string of beads in his left hand and seated upon an integrated base; with a fitted timber stand


A JIZHOU WARE BOWL
Southern Song Dynasty (12th-13th century)
A deep conical bowl with a small circular foot having a horizontal mould line to the interior of the collar and a gently shaped rim, decorated externally with a mottled tiger's fur glaze in grey and caramel over deep chocolate, and to the interior two phoenix birds and plum blossom motifs, with a button to the centre


A LARGE CHINESE JARDINIERE OR FISH BOWL
The deep ovoid bowl with a bulbous rim in a five colour or wucai palette with continuous underglaze blue and enamel decoration of immortals and attendants in a symbolic landscape between lappet and patterned borders with floral panels


A CHINESE POLYCHROME MOON VASE
Late Qing Dynasty, late 19th to early 20th century
Of typical cushion form with applied chilong handles and three cylindrical spouts, decorated in a famille rose palette with auspicious figures and their attributes with cranes, ruyi and fire clouds within two large roundels, surrounded by continuous patterns of flora, peaches, dragons and shou medallions; bearing underglaze Qianlong characters underside
